Thomas Kelly ~Autobiography~

My name is Thomas Kelly.  I was born June 18th, 1993 in Raleigh N.C., and was adopted by Bill and Cathie Kelly from The Children’s Homes society. It was here in Raleigh, in which, I spent the first nine and a half years of my life.  I was enrolled in an elementary school called Root, which was a short six-minute walk from my home. In February 9th, 1999, another member was added to my family of three.  Thus we adopted Stuart, from the same place I was adopted from.  The summer in which I turned ten my family moved to Atlanta, Georgia where I currently reside.

Anyway, more about me, I am 18 years old, 6’3”, and 143 lbs.  I have blond hair and blue eyes.  I am currently a senior in high school at SOAR academy.  My main interests in life revolve around music.  I both sing and play guitar, which I first started doing about six years ago.  After discovering my love of music I quickly began to look into music-based colleges.  I was accepted to both Greensboro College and Catawba College, each with scholarship. For Greensboro I received a $12,000 scholarship and for Catawba I received a total of a $21,500 scholarship.  It was a no brainer that I would indeed pursue Catawba, where I will begin in the Fall of 2012.

As far as my music experience I have written several songs both for electric and acoustic guitars.  I then began to work with several local bands in G.A., which I started to manage.  Although I was not performing with these bands I never faltered to find time to practice and keep myself dedicated to playing guitar.  Later on I started to fiddle with my personal guitars and quickly began to find that I had a knack for building and upgrading guitars.  And thus, the start of my love for building and working on guitars began.

The goals I have in life now consists of finishing college with a triple major, continue from college into the music industry, and to be able to support myself and the possibility of a family of my own in the future.
